Absolutely not!! By having a bike I'm able to avoid a lot of the traffic congestion by weaving my way between cars. So no, I do not find riding a bike here to be troublesome. Good question though, and I get it a lot!!

Hahha, you own an old-fashioned bike! Compared to modern bikes with a brand, your bike has less chance to be stolen. I had a question though, with such a traffic jam in Shanghai, do you find riding a bike in Shanghai troublesome?

Hey - another February transplant to Shanghai here with a new Shanghai bike (mine's red!). So far, my favorite ride is along Suzhou Creek from Zhongshan Park to the Moganshan Lu galleries - but your pictures are inspiring me to try Century Park next. Keep posting!
